Parameters of Collectors
For the collectors listed in the table below, you can set a value for their parameters. These parameters are used in the program of the collector and provide a generic setup of the collector's execution logic.
You can set up parameters to adjust the program of the collector according to your requirements or system setup. For example, you might want to influence the calculation of default KPI values or set up the general properties of a collector. For more information about collectors, see the chapter Collectors.
Proceed as follows to change the parameters of a collector:

Start transaction /DVD/MON and click Settings > Collector settings. Alternatively, you can start transaction /DVD/MON_COL.

Select a collector name from the table below.

Double-click Parameters.

Check the list of available parameters. Each parameter has its own default value.

Select a parameter whose value you want to adjust.

Double-click the Custom values subnode.

Click New Entries.

Enter the Profile. This column defines the profile name to which this custom parameter value will be applied. There are two ways to define the profile name:

Profile name without pattern: You must fully specify the existing profile name. You can use the search help by pressing F4.

Profile name with pattern: You can use the wildcard * to apply this custom parameter value to multiple profiles. Examples:

*: Apply the value to all profiles.

Z*: Apply the value to all profiles whose name starts with Z.
-
*5MIN: Apply the value to all profiles whose name ends with the substring 5MIN.
NOTE Only use unique combinations when applying the patterns in the profile name.
For example, the three values mentioned above (*, Z* and *5MIN) are not unique for the profile ZDEF_5MIN. In such a case, CrystalBridge® Monitoring will select the value defined for the profile Z*, not for *5MIN.

In the Value column, specify one or more custom values for this parameter.

The parameters have been changed.
List of Default Collectors with Predefined Parameters and Their Default Values
You cannot create a new parameter, delete an existing parameter or change a default value of a predefined parameter for a default collector. This is only possible for custom collectors. For more information about parameters for custom collectors, see the chapter Custom Collector Parameters.
